3 more die of swine flu, toll reaches 508

New Delhi, Nov 11Three persons died today of swine flu, taking the toll due to the influenza to 508 in the country.

While one person died in the capital, two deaths were reported from Rajasthan, the Health Ministry said.

About 138 people were confirmed for swine flu today.

All these are indigenous cases. Of them, a maximum of 60 cases were confirmed in Rajasthan followed by 20 in Maharashtra and 18 in Kerala.

The total lab confirmed cases of the disease has increased to 14,851 so far, the ministry said.

As many as 41,756 passengers were screened for swine flu at 22 airports yesterday. The total passengers screened till date is 83,91,850, the ministry said.
