Bhopal, Feb 15 Ministers in Madhya Pradesh will have to disclose the details of their property on the pattern of civil servants who were directed to furnish the information.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today asked all his Ministers at a cabinet meeting here today to furnish details of their property in the budget session of the state assembly beginning February 22, officials said.
Chouhan also said in the meeting that the property of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other elite services officers working in the state should be made public and posted on the state's website, they said.
The Chief Minister's decision on disclosure of property was announced after the Chief Information Commissioner of the state had told the government to provide details of the property of IAS and IPS officers under the RTI Act.
