45-strong athletes to represent India in SAG

New Delhi, Feb 2 India will be represented by a 40-strong squad in the track and field event of the 11th South Asian Games in Dhaka.

The Athletics Federation of India today announced the squad for the SAG.

The track and field event will be held from February 6 to 9 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.

All the 40 athletes will proceed to Kuala Lumpur from Dhaka after the SAG to join others who are already there from January 19 for the preparation of the Commonwealth Games.

The athletes will train in Kuala Lumpur till February 16, an AFI release said. .
