Strange are the ways of few celebrities and sometimes it is all about money instead of a noble cause and a reasonable occasion. This is causing an embarrassment to the very essence of being a noted and respectable person in the society. Here is one incident which has raised few eyebrows.
Apparently, the management of a school was organizing its sports meet as part of the annual day and some of the top hockey players along with few noted IAS officers were part of the invitees. Ironically, when the management approached the famous chess player Koneru Hampi, she dropped a bomb.
It seems she demanded Rs 2 lakhs to be a part of the event which shocked the school folks. So they decided to ignore Hampi and have invited Harikrishna who came for free. However, it is heard that all of them were given an honorary payment along with felicitation. Many are now wondering why Hampi did that if all that is true…
